Challenge Expectations

Challenge Expectations is a global public service announcement for Special Olympics International that invites the world to rethink what it believes about people with intellectual disabilities. Featuring athletes from around the globe, the film celebrates determination, courage and achievement while demonstrating that expectations are often the only limits that truly exist. It serves as a powerful reminder that when we see ability first, we unlock potential that benefits us all. The campaign aligns with Special Olympics' global movement to end discrimination and build a more inclusive world through sport.

Rooted in the belief that inclusion is stronger than exclusion, the PSA inspires audiences to challenge outdated perceptions and recognize the leadership, resilience and joy that Special Olympics athletes bring to their schools, workplaces and communities every day. More than a celebration of sport, Challenge Expectations is a call to action to create a world where everyone is valued, everyone belongs and everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
